In the previous version of CheckIn, quilt and fabric shops had the ability to create multiple types of pre-cut products — including specific yardage cuts (such as 1 yard, 1/3 yard, etc.), fat eighths, fat quarters, and more. This was essential for how fabric retail actually works.
In the Beta, it appears this functionality has been reduced to fat quarters only.
This is a significant loss of functionality for quilt shops. Fabric retailers sell in a wide variety of pre-cut increments, and the ability to set up and sell these different cut types is a core part of daily operations — not a niche feature.
We have very specific needs that differ from general retail, and removing this flexibility directly impacts our ability to serve our customers.
Please restore the full range of pre-cut product types as soon as possible.
